For the past three years I have been using Holiday Travel to help plan my school trips to Bolivia. They also arranged my family’s travel plans when we took a year to travel the world. The agents at Holiday Travel have been a real support for me on these trips. It helps that these people have first hand knowledge of the places I have travelled to. They know the airports, the possible sticky points, the hotels, and often the language of these countries. Twice in the past two years I have found myself in a tough situation where I have been stuck with a group of students with no immediate solution at hand. Both times I was able to call either Christy Schmidt at home or someone at the office for the advice and help I needed to solve the problem.

I also found the Holiday Travel staff to be very understanding and accommodating when it comes to making changes. Working with students means that plans change unexpectedly and Holiday Travel was always flexible.

Our last trip to Bolivia was superb except for one unforeseen problem, which could have been very expensive for us. Thankfully, Christy had done all the necessary arrangements, given us good advice about insurance coverage, and we were able to recoup all of our costs. More importantly, she worked the phones from her end, to help us out of our jam, above and beyond what I had come to expect from travel agents in the past. I am truly thankful to her and the others at Holiday Travel for making these trips a success.

Kirsten, Just a short note to let you know that we had a fabulous time in Huatulco and would highly recommend the Gala. The resort was clean, staff friendly, service great, and food was good. Weather was perfect every day, drinks were cold and always available. Can't say enough good things.

We met lots of nice people, mostly Canadians. Ventured out on our own to Santa Cruz and La Crucecita. Both are beautiful, quaint towns. Hired a boat for the day and did the 7 bay tour. Also taxi drivers were also available for hire and would drop you off at different sites (beaches) and pick you up in a few hours time.

Don't let anyone tell you there is nothing to do! Nightlife is less than say "Party Vallarta", but we didn't care. Advice for travellers to Huatulco bring an English/Spanish dictionary. Once you leave the resort not many Mexicans speak english so in hindsight I should have brushed up on my Spanish.

It's almost 'winter getaway' planning season and you are the one who will make it happen for us, again.

We are still awestruck at how you managed to work thru sending approx 30 of our family members, from 4 different Canadian locations, to Mexico for the same week. You were instrumental in our communication with the resort manager for planning our anniversary celebration that was the BEST ever!! I am happy to hear that some of these family members continue to deal with you at present.
