We're going to Disneyland!
My two daughters and I have now had the magnificent opportunity to visit both Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
It is truly a magical experience. No one does it better than Disney, from morning until night there is always something to enjoy. Stay on site at one of the Disney resorts and enter the parks before the public, have breakfast with Mickey Mouse or one of your other favourite characters and then venture off for a day or WOW! Rides range from everyone’s favourite, ‘It’s a Small World’, to my favourite, ‘Indiana Jones Adventure’. There are plenty of sights to see, shopping to do, food to eat, musicals to enjoy, Disney characters to hug or take off to one of their water parks for the afternoon. End your day watching an electrical parade, a laser light show, or the spectacular fireworks.
Everyone should visit Disney, so make sure you get the most out of your holiday. Which one is for you? BOTH! But here are some tips to help you choose.
California
- Disneyland is smaller with two theme parks which can be done in fewer days
- close to Hollywood and those famous California beaches
- other major attractions such as Sea World, Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm, San Diego Zoo
Florida
- Disney World has four theme parks and three water parks, lots to keep you busy
- Disney own cruise Line available to add to your stay
- other major attractions such as Sea World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens, Cirque du Soleil, Kennedy Space Center
- close to the many beaches and cruise ports
