Italy is a magical country — it is a land of art, culture, and history.
My husband and I visited Italy in the fall, which was a wonderful time to visit this beautiful country. The weather was still very nice plus we avoided the heavy summer crowds.
Encounter delightful towns with cobbled piazzas or experience the bustling cities where the Italian people zip through the narrow streets on vespas. Walk through medieval towns and sip espresso in a quaint outdoor café.
There is plenty of good food and wine in Italy. You are welcome to participate in a cooking class or take part in a wine, cheese or olive oil tasting. It is also fun to pick up a fresh slice of pizza at a little street side restaurant in the middle of a busy day of sightseeing.
Venice is truly a romantic, magical place to visit. A gondola ride should not be missed!
Visit Cinque Terre and watch a blazing Mediterranean sunset in one of the 5 little villages that are built into the rocks between the beach and the hills.
